Cooking is a passion of mine. I love to gather with friends around a table and share a joyful and restful moment. As I believe food has an essential role in our health, I am interested in a healthy but generous cuisine.
That’s why I would like to share my first local eating experience with Anne, a lovely american lady, thanks to Eatwith : an online service that gives travelers the chance to reserve a homey meal in a number of cities around the world. Eatwith has a fast growing network of hosts in many European countries, the US, Asia, and Australia. What these people have in common is their love for food, traveling and sharing experiences.
Me and Anne decided the menu, the time , the date and arranged all that needed for our dinner. I prepared some Mediterranean appetizers , Swordfish pasta paired with a good and red wine -Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Montepulciano di Abruzzo.
Around 8 pm, guests started to arrive one by one. Getting more and more excited. Each person came with their smile and joy, shared our excitement.
We spoke about the Italian culinary art and wine tradition above all in Tuscany and Sicily, and personal life experience . It was so interesting to listen to american life style , Anne and his father were really good at explaining all about it . I would like to go to the U.S.A. one day and to do the same that Anne did with me!
